I have marketing, communications, design, and video experience across higher ed, tech, and nonprofit industries. See below for a few of my favorite projects I've worked on over the years, curated to showcase the breadth of my skill set.
After creating a strategic marketing plan, I oversaw the development, implementation, and execution of 17+ marketing campaigns each year. I created a content calendar outlining each campaign my team would work on in Excel with this high-level tab and tabs for each campaign outlining each tactic and due date.

I created this video using Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Audition, and assembled it all in Premiere Pro. This video was used to replace the in-person Housing session at the University of Utah's 2020 New Student Orientation.

University of Utah Student Affairs
I designed this piece for the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Utah while working for Housing & Residential Education, a department within the division. I collected content from departments across Student Affairs and created this poster immediately prior to the 2020 novel coronavirus outbreak to encourage students to stay on campus over spring break. In addition to the printed collateral, I also designed a social media graphic that was shared university-wide.

As the content strategist and editor for Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah, I used my deep understanding of SEO best practices and communicated findings to team members in a mentoring role. I also created the content and slide deck for an in-house SEO training session that served as an overview for our full communications team.

While my role at the University of Utah was primarily supervising and leading the strategy behind our social media presence, I was also able to tactically use my advanced knowledge to create optimized posts across our networks, including optimizing posts for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. I also developed a social media style guide.

While working in my various roles for Housing & Residential Education, I represented the department and larger university as a whole by presenting at recruitment events for prospective, newly admitted, and current students. I created slide decks and used my public speaking skills to promote living on campus.

Front-End Web Design

As the communications coordinator for Housing & Residential Education, I served as the department's website coordinator. I use my advanced HTML5 and CSS skills to create an interactive, aesthetically pleasing user interface while maintaining the University of Utah's brand standards. I am familiar with WordPress, Wix, and WebFlow content management systems (CMS).

Housing Tour Video

During my tenure at the University of Utah, I was tasked with creating a virtual tour experience to replace the on-campus tour component that was paused due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. I used my pre- and post-production video editing skills to repurpose this Instagram Live video for YouTube and our website.

Davis Technical College
As the public relations intern and primary prevention coordinator, I was able to contribute to the campus' Safety webpage, hold events, and work in collaboration with the Utah Department of Health and the Davis County women's shelter to create a primary prevention program. My role allowed me to write and design materials including this brochure about consent.
Drip Email Campaign

I specialize in developing the strategy, design, production, and execution of communications and marketing campaigns. Here, I developed an email drip campaign highlighting one of our virtual events in collaboration with the Office of Admissions at the University of Utah. I oversaw the strategy behind the drip email campaign, the creation of the content, and design of the email banners. I also participated in the live event which saw over 300 newly admitted students.
